We so are!
So this morning, we want to talk about our love of lipstick, which doesn't go with age! We hear you!
That said we all know our lips do age, so pucker up and let's discuss taking care of that cupids bow!
Before that colour comes the conditioning and protection!
I recommend you go to your kitchen for some coconut oil! Yes really! Failing that, go to your bathroom, you'll probably have lip balm, vaseline, aloe vera or vitamin e cream in those overstocked cabinets!
Any one of these treatments will do, especially as Autumn sets in and we head into winter. Dry lips are not pretty and your lovely lippy won't settle very well on dry, cracked lips.
Okay, so we scrub most of our body and our face but what about our lips?
Of course we can do this at least once a week an of course you can head to your pharmacy and pay a fortune for a lip scrub, but you could also make your own!
Mix
Brown sugar with raw honey and add a little lavender oil and or olive oil.

Wash off with warm water, et voila!
So now we are starting to take care of our lips and you will find that treating them well will pay off! When it comes to applying your lipstick, it will sit better and stay on longer without dead or cracked skin to make it run or smudge.
What about the lipstick? Of course there are many colours to choose from and you can go glossy or mat? Thats okay, I can't tell you what not to wear but how do you get the best out of your lipstick?
What You Need: Lipstick.
Step 1: Exfoliate Your Lips.
Before getting started, make sure you exfoliate your lips to remove all the dead skin. Step 2: Prime Your Pout.
Step 3: Use Lip Liner to Line and Fill.
Step 4: Blot, Then Powder.
Step 5: Apply Your Lipstick with a Lip Brush.
Step 6: Blot, Then Powder Again.
Then try the finger trick.
After applying your lip color, do the “finger trick” to prevent lipstick from getting on your teeth. Put your finger in your mouth and close your lips around your finger. With lips still closed, pull your finger out.
So which French Lipstick brands come out on top? Here are some to try that I feel are actually really well lasting. Of course they are available in a plethora of colours and available at Sephora.
Dior Lip glow - 23 euros
Ethereal, pink, and perpetually pretty, Dior's infamous Lip Glow is a must-have object of affection within any makeup lover's lip kit. You can't go wrong with any of the Lip Glow shades or finishes, but the subtle shimmer of this holographic number is perfection in a tube.
Sisley Paris tinted lip balm - 30 euros
Every makeup product within the Sisley Paris family is golden, but its lip twists consistently manage the perfect ratio of colour payoff, moisture, and durability. Plus, the shade range looks gorgeous on all skin tones.
Yves Saint Laurent Vinyl Lip Cream - 24 euros
For a heavy hit of color, hydration, and staying powder (10 hours, to be exact), this glossy lip stain is the ultimate wingwoman. For a stain, it boasts impressive coverage, so if you're looking for something sheerer, tread carefully. (But of course, that wouldn't be very French of you, now would it?).
1944 Paris - Semi Matt Lipstick 40 euros
While the above offers a convertible finish perfect for both cheeks and lips, we're having a serious moment with this cherry red lipstick that basically looks like our French makeup lipstick dreams come true.
