I'm a bit of a pot & plant addict at the moment. Comes with having not much of a garden and a balcony!
Our place in France, when renovated, will be more of a posh pool terrace! You know, for the meeting of a scantily 'George Cloony' type, a few decent bottles of wine and romantic ambiance.
Okay so not gonna happen but I'd be happy to see the kids and adults enjoying the space without it feeling too concrete!
We have a walled garden which, gives us a natural LIMESTONE pallet to work with and for outside interior additions such as waterfalls, statues and other 'Brocante' paraphernalia!
Initially, I was very disappointed in the size of the garden BUT with hind sight it certainly works for now. We need low maintenance, which is a shame because the previous Lady owner was quite the gardener. Still, there are endless possibilities aren't there? Her Hydrangea bushes are steadfastly hanging in there which means they stay. What lovely legacy eh? My friend has taken many a cutting to propagate her Petit Manoir garden.
