Hot summers mean BBQ's but what else? What will be the side dish? The usual, probably but it doesn't have to be that way!
We need more of an assembly job really, not hours slaving away in the kitchen and bonus now you can buy ready cooked noodles if you really CBA!
With this dish its all about shredding some veggies and making the dressing. Give it a go but do taste as you go!
1 or 2 packs of Chinese noodles (for making chow mien)
bite sized broccoli raw, bean sprouts, spring onions, peppers, purple cabbage & carrot
1 thumb of fresh ginger peeled and minced
1 clove of garlic peeled and minced
1 fresh chilli sliced *optional
1/3 cup of soy sauce
1/2 tablespoon of sugar (add more or less)
1/3 cup mixed olive and sesame oil
1/3 rice wine vinegar
salt and pepper to taste
