Welcome!

Times are really tough post COVID for the hospitality industry right now! Nevertheless, holiday makers do want the best of everything, but that can mean watching hard earned profit disappear in trying to impress! A welcome tray is expected these days and let's face it, it's so nice to arrive as a guest to a little homemade and or local produce gift. Never fear, there are many ways to give a little extra without breaking the bank.

The first thing I would do, is to reach out to the crafty expat community for ideas. There are lovely handmade products to buy which can be topped off with your own business label! Don't if your budget doesn't stretch that far, these mini meringues are a perfect compromised and so cheap to make, especially if you keep chickens! You can also repurpose jam jars, print off your labels and expect the guest to take them home!

Other idea's are lavender bags, soaps, mini candles, lavender shortbread, chocolates, home made cordials, preserves, elderflower fizz! All these lovely things that can be all made in your own kitchen! Don't forget fresh flowers, herbs, spices, fruit and nuts from your own garden!

Every little helps.
